You can also subscribe to our VIP list to receive an email before any new availability is announced on our social media (Facebook and Instagram).
Please note that our region will host the World Acadian Congress from August 10 to 18, 2024. This is a major event that takes place every five years, attracting large numbers of people from all over the world. As a result, southwest Nova Scotia will be exceptionally busy during this period. La Bluefin is already booked for the duration of the Congress.

The nightly rate is based on the length of stay.
Fall 2022/Spring 2023 (minimum stay: 2 nights)
- $230/night for 2-3 nights
- $200/night for 4-6 nights
- $180/night for 7-9 nights
- $165/night for 10+ nights
Summer 2023 (minimum stay: 4 nights)
- $280/night for 4-6 nights
- $250/night for 7-9 nights
- $220/night for 10+ nights
- Our rental agreement must be signed and submitted with a governement-issued photo ID and a $100 non-refundable deposit to confirm the booking and hold the dates.
- The balance is due 30 days before arrival date. If full payment is not received 29 days before check-in, the booking will be considered as cancelled by you and the dates will be released.
- Cancellations: 50% refund for cancellations between 15 and 30 days before check-in. No refund for cancellations less than 15 days before check-in.
- A $500 security deposit needs to be sent 7 days before check-in. It will be refunded within 7 days of departure if there is no damage to the property and if no extra cleaning fees are incurred. If the deposit is not received 5 days before check-in, the booking will be considered as cancelled by you and the dates will be released with no refund.
- Payment by etransfer preferred, credit card also available (a 4% fee will be added for credit card payments).
- Absolutely no smoking/vaping/use of illegal substances of any kind nowhere on the property.
- Maximum occupancy is 4 people (regardless of age). No unregistered overnight guests. No tents, trailers or RVs can be set up on the property to increase occupancy.
- No parties or events, no large gatherings (no more than 8 people can be on the property at any given time).
- There are exterior security cameras monitoring the front door, driveway and parking of the property with audio/video recording capacity. No tampering or disabling of the security cameras or the wifi is allowed.
- Please do NOT flush anything else than toilet paper down the toilet.
- Sort trash in compliance with local guidelines.
- Pick up after yourself and leave the home in the same condition you found it.
- Beware of the wind when opening or closing the outward swinging front door that easily catches in the wind. Please ALWAYS shut the door behind you and never leave it open.
- Dogs may be allowed on a case per case basis but need to be preapproved by us and a pet agreement must be signed. Undisclosed animals will incur a fee of $500.
- Report damages or problems immediately.
